Building Connections

Building Connections is a program which combines information and guidance around the impact of separation on children.

The program is recommended for separated parents and/or going through separation. Our trained facilitators will provide useful information to build workable parenting agreements.

During the 2-3 hour group program, participants will learn:

  • How family separation and unresolved conflict affects children
  • How to be supportive of your child’s relationship with the other parent
  • Skills to manage difficult emotions and how to support your children to do the same
  • Identifying healthy and unhealthy parenting behaviours and respond positively
  • How to build healthy relationships with your child post-separation
  • Positive habits for your wellbeing

Attending this program will provide support on your journey to give your family the best future possible, following separation.

We support family relationships to thrive.

This program is funded by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s Department.
