Redress Scheme Support Service

The Redress Support Service helps people who have experienced child sexual abuse in an institution before July 2018 access the National Redress Scheme.

The National Redress Scheme is an Australian Government program which offers acknowledgment and apologies, payments and support to people who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse.

Institutions can include; schools, churches, foster care, children’s home, missions, sports clubs, juvenile corrections, plus more.

The Redress Support Service at Relationships Australia – NT, provides culturally safe support as you navigate the Scheme.

Our team can meet with you in person or by phone to explain more about Redress, listen to your story, help you submit an application, offer counselling and practical support.

Your story will always be safe and believed with no judgement.

This program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
